This java applet/application implements a simple
yagi modeling code. The initial input is a really trivial 2 elmenent yagi. Click on calculate to have the applet calculate the driven element input impedance, gain, front to back ratio. The pattern is displayed on the graph. The upper part of the graph is the azimuthal pattern (E-plane) for a horizontally polarized yagi. The lower part of the graph is the elevation pattern (H-plane). You can run this program by accessing the web site, or by downloading and running it on your computer while not connected to the Internet.

Volker Schroer, DL1KSV, has released a native OSX version of DarwinPSK. This is a port of the open-source PSK program LinPSK. DarwinPSK includes support for BPSK, QPSK, MFSK16 and RTTY. (LinPSK is the Linux version of the program.)

The home page may be out of date, so the installation information there may no longer apply. Simply download the DarwinPsk file, unzip it, and double-click on the icon to run. No other files, compiling or building are necessary.  Unlike the previous version, it does not require X-Windows or the Qt library, just a standard Mac with OSX So far it has only been tested on OSX 10.3.

Using a graphical interface, display data from a memory image and let a user change various settings. Sort memory channels by frequency or label.
Find duplicate frequencies in memory channels. Import memory channel or talk group data from csv (comma-separated values) files. Export memory channel or talk group data to csv files. Write the results back to the radio.
