WSJT-X version 2.6.1 released
The WSJT Development Team has announced that WSJT-X 2.6.1 General Availability (GA) release is now available for free download from SourceForge. Version 2.6.1 is a bug-fix release, and details can be found in the release notes at https://wsjt.sourceforge.io/wsjtx-doc/Release_Notes_2.6.1.txt.

WSJT-X 2.6.1 is mostly a bug fix release for Q65. It has the following
changes since release 2.6.0:
- Fix a flaw in Q65 mode that prevented proper display of the T/R
period spinner.
- Make the initialization of the decoded text font more robust.
- Better initialization when starting the program in FT8 Hound mode.
- Fix a bug causing program crash with more than 100 decodes in a
single FT8 sequence.
- Fix a compiler warning on macOS.
- Correct the reference to "ARRL International Digital Contest" in the
Release Notes.

I am having an issue with the audio input USB device toggling on and off when using WSJT-X. I have a Yaesu FT-710 rig and am using macbook pro laptop. I installed the Silicon Labs CP210x Drivers for the USB drivers to work with MacOS and the rig but seeing this toggling on and off issue and FT8 isn’t working.
Anyone else have this issues? Any thoughts or ideas?

I had the exact issue and solved it by changing the audio sample rate to 44KHz instead of 48KHz in the midi settings. It works perfectly now on my M1 MacBook pro

Unfortunately the WSJT-X version 2.6.1 does not work anymore with the new upgrade of Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.2. on my MacMini Apple M2 Pro.

Several files disappeared from the “Application Support” section, under the WSJT-X file.
I tried to re install it, but unsuccessfully.
Furthermore the Beta version 2.7 is not better at all with these conditions.
Please take on consideration these points for your next upgrade.

For when the new version of WSJT-X adapted for the MacMini M2 Pro ??
Since the upgrade of OS Sonoma 14.1.2 its a real catastrophe: bugs and clash from application on my MacMini M2 Pro.
The new beta version of WSJT-X – 2.7 is also not compatible at all.
Anyone could me give a a solution, in spite of my duly re cancel and the duly re installation of both “previous pretty old version” of WSJT-X ???
