SmartSDR for iOS v3.06.02 Now Available

FlexRadio Systems announces the release of SmartSDR for iOS v3.06.02 is now available for download or update from the Apple App Store.

This App requires a FlexRadio Systems FLEX-6000 Signature Series Software Defined Radio (SDR) Device. However, the App also contains a FlexRadio Simulator (Demo Mode) that provides an approximation of the App’s features so you can evaluate this App even without owning a FLEX-6000 SDR.

3.06.02 This update contains the following improvements and new features:

• iOS 13 Dark Mode support
• Some bug fixes when Logging FT8 QSOs
• New option Hide Duplicates to keep the FT8 RX List smaller
• New Tool FT8 Skimmer to watch up to four Bands for FT8/FT4 activity
• Some additional bugs and iOS 13 compatibility issues fixed
• Now requires at least iOS 11

3.05.01 This update contains the following changes and improvements:

• IMPROVEMENTS OF THE FT8 TOOL:

  • Now also supports FT4

  • The FT8 Algorithm has further been improved for shorter turnaround times
  • Short Messages for Quick QSOs without exchanging the Grid have been added 
  • Beep after somebody answering

 

• OTHER IMPROVEMENTS / FEATURES: 
  • Improved “Alternate Color” mode to for better distinguishing enabled/enabled buttons
  • Tapping on DX-Spots on Panadapter will copy the Call to Pasteboard for easier logging
  • The Network Stats tool now shows the used Bandwidth and kb received
  • Additional iOS 13 improvements
